The eastern corner of the land, in order to relieve the owners of gardening work, was designed to resemble a birch forest.
Perennials provide protection against weeds, and the tall birches and hornbeams mute the sounds from the nearby expressway.

The green entrance to the house hides the not-so-aesthetic septic tank hatches and separates the garden from the very close neighboring building.
A difficult but important place, due to the wide view from the kitchen window.
The formed hedge allows to maintain a modern, orderly character, despite the riot of colors in the planned perennial flowerbed.

The tool shed as the main element of the farm and play part of the plot draws attention away from the border and creates a coherent whole with the vegetable pots.
The gravel square is also the ground for the youngest resident's swing.
The paved square in the middle of the lawn is the ground for the swimming pool in the summer, and in the other months it is a chess battlefield for father and son.

The recreational area with a bonfire and a large stone bench is the furthest from naighbours place in the garden.
In the summer, it will provide a space for a wide group of friends to play, while the isolated place provides privacy for each family member who wants to breathe in peace and quiet.

Flat terrain and a huge area, contrary to appearances, can be the biggest challenge for a designer.
The lack of problematic issues gives a lot of possibilities, but which of them will serve the residents best? Fortunately, busy parents and frisky siblings knew well what they expected from the garden and I managed to find interesting and functional solutions.
The 1,500 m2 plot meets the requirements of restless children and parents looking for peace and quiet.
